Leading the Way with New Connectivity Opportunities
Starling's revolutionary antenna technology opens up a new world of possibilities for connectivity on the move. By enabling air and land travelers to enjoy rich content, with the option to use their own Internet-connected devices, Starling antenna solutions create new opportunities for expanding your service offerings. Our family of lightweight, fuselage-mounted Ku antennas, which includes the only flight-proven Ku antenna of its type available now, are the new gold standard in broadband communication on the move.
Starling Advanced Communications is the leading innovator in the field of mobile connectivity. With years of proven experience in low-profile two-way Ku band antenna systems, Starling has paved the way for a new era in communication. With Starling’s advanced solutions, the opportunities for connectivity are virtually limitless. Full-featured broadband connectivity on the move is both easily achievable and affordable.
The Ku antenna is the critical enabler for efficient broadband connectivity on the move. Traditionally the commercialization of old technology high-end antennas was limited by their prohibitive total cost of ownership and large dimensions, which made them unviable for most forms of transportation. This no longer applies, as our new technology overcomes all cost-performance and size obstacles. The Starling Ku band antennas offer cost-efficient low drag and high-performance broadband connectivity. Our antennas are perfect for any airborne platform of any size, high-speed trains and four-wheel vehicles of any size. This opens new opportunities for service providers, telecom and satellite providers to add more value to their offering.
Powerful, Efficient Technology
Starling’s Ku broadband antenna is based on a unique, patented transmission/reception and signal processing technology that enables both high-speed data rates and an exceptionally low-profile design. Our Coherent Multi-Panel Antenna (CoMPATM) technology provides a comprehensive answer to the growing need for broadband connectivity for all forms of transportation.
The MIJET™ family of Ku broadband antenna systems now includes options for the full range of commercial and private aircraft. In addition, Starling is developing a Ku antenna family for land solutions, solving connectivity issues for high-speed trains and emergency vehicles.
Comprehensive Offering
Starling offers a wide range of antennas targeted to varied markets, including:
- MIJET™ -- Ideal for commercial aircraft carrying large numbers of passengers over long routes, such as cross-country or transcontinental routes. Available now.
- MIJETLite™ – Additional, lower cost choice for the commercial aircraft market. Full testing expected to be completed by the end of 2008.
